Private General Dentistry At Notting Hill Dental Clinic

Our dentists have decades of experience in provision of general dental care to thousands of satisfied patients from Notting Hill, Kensington, and Bayswater areas of London.

Our practice philosophy centres around prevention and minimally invasive dentistry. We recommended regular checks of teeth and gums and also regular hygienist visits which allow us to detect problems at an early stage and to prevent serious gum disease.

You can expect a dentist to do several things during your examination appointment:

  • Examine the health of your teeth and gums
  • Conduct a small x-ray of your teeth if required
  • Treat any minor problems
  • For more complex issues that require more time, you may be booked for a follow-up, or referred to another specialist

If you require emergency dental services, make sure to give us a call on 020 7229 9102.

Please Note: We do not offer NHS services

Initial Oral Health Assessment
During your Initial Oral Health Assessment, your dentist will begin by conducting a thorough examination of your teeth and gums. This involves visually inspecting the condition of each tooth, checking for signs of decay, cavities, or damage. Your gums will also be evaluated for any indications of gum disease or inflammation.

If necessary, your dentist may recommend taking x-rays to obtain a comprehensive view of your oral structures, including the teeth, roots, and jawbone. X-rays can reveal issues that are not visible during a visual examination, such as decay between teeth, bone loss, or impacted teeth. These diagnostic images are essential for a detailed assessment of your oral health.

The cost of x-rays are included in the cost of the examination. We believe in transparent pricing and we are always updating our price list so you can make informed decisions on your dental care.
Dental Advice
Following the examination and x-rays, your dentist will discuss their findings with you in detail. They will explain the current state of your oral health, highlighting any areas of concern or potential problems. Based on this assessment, personalised treatment recommendations will be provided to address any issues identified during the examination.
Post-Treatment Guidance
Following your Oral Health Assessment, if additional treatment is recommended by your London dentist, you may be scheduled for a follow-up appointment to address any identified issues. During this appointment, your dentist will thoroughly explain the recommended procedure, including its purpose, expected outcomes, and associated costs. Clear communication ensures that you are well-informed and can make decisions regarding your dental care with confidence.

In certain cases where specialised treatment is required, such as tooth extraction or dental implant placement, you may be referred to our in-house Oral Surgeon.
